Possible attends the employment conferences in Vigo and A Coruña

On April 26, 27 and 28, the employment and training fair was held in A Coruña at IFFE Business School, and Possible was one of the companies invited to the event. In it, talks and round tables were held on technology and the most demanded skills in the ICT sector.

Also, on the 27th and 28th we were simultaneously at the EmpregoinCampus international fair of the University of Vigo, where we have our own stand to communicate directly with the students of the Faculty of Economics.

We tell you below how our days were in these events to let us know.

Employment and training fair IFFE Business School

IFFE Business School is a Spanish Business School with Master’s and Postgraduate training programs. They seek in all their activities the exact measure between technology and humanism, incorporating in the teachings the technology that permeates the business world. All this without forgetting the importance of people and their development.

IFFE Business School organizes, as has become a tradition, the Employment and Training Fair. This year marks its 11th edition, which will be held in a hybrid format between virtual and face-to-face on campus. Possible, as a technology company, is making an appearance at this event, joining several virtual talks and in-person events on campus.

The talks, available even virtually, dealt with Big Data technology and Possible’s role as a technology company. Javier Martínez (CEO of Possible) and Sabela Castro (Project Manager) were in charge of exhibiting at these events.

Empregoin Fair Campus of the University of Vigo

Simultaneously, on April 27 and 28, an event took place at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Vigo, which has taken place for the first time this year, in which various companies are represented from a stand, and the workers can speak directly with the students of the faculty and solve their doubts about the world of work.

Ana Penas and Sara Senín (both Possible project managers) represented the company at its stand. The purpose of the job fair is to put graduates and final year students in contact with collaborating companies that are looking for talent at the University of Vigo.

Who is the target audience of the event? Final year students or people with degrees in the following degrees and related master’s degrees: business administration and management, law, economics, foreign trade, labor relations, translation and interpretation, and philologies.

The students soon filled the room and became interested in all the companies exhibited there. Of course, they were also interested in the Possible stand where notebooks, cards, and merchandising of all kinds were handed out.

The main interest on the part of the students was what type of profile we are looking for from a company, and the characteristics that are most required for a job. Also, they were interested in the operation of a company with workers with an economic profile (what positions are covered, what are the functions to be performed… etc.).

These events always give students a chance to meet us and learn about the world of work. Possible is committed to local education and young talent, which is why it is important to give the best image possible and provide all the information of interest about the company.

Both events had a large audience and were a satisfying experience. Possible’s employees made a great effort to present us in a satisfactory manner and we can say that it was a great success. We hope to be present at the next job fairs, and to be able to give our best again.
